«The Lord teaches people through people» - so say the Fathers of the Orthodox Church. Therefore, it is crucial to have decent preachers, especially natives, who can explain and spread the Word of God to others.
The education of students, their air travel to Russia, insurance and other costs are quite a heavy burden on the general church budget of the Orthodox Church in Thailand. Therefore, we ask your help:

Paul (Pongsakorn Rodaon) was born in 1992 in the province of Nonthaburi to a family of military personnel. He graduated from high school in Yothinburana, then he began to study law at Panakorn Rachapaph University in Bangkok. He has successfully completed the first year. He was baptized 5/6/2012 at St. Nicholas Chapel in Bangkok, with the name Paul in honor of the apostle Paul. He wants to obtain religious education in Russia and devote himself to the service of the Holy Orthodox Church.

Kampan Phiaxayawong |
Constantine (Kampan Phiaxayavong) is Anthony’s younger brother who also converted from Catholicism to Orthodoxy. After moving to St. Nicholas parish, Bangkok, he has a variety of church work. He was taught the basics of Orthodoxy and the English language. He often visited the Holy Dormition Monastery in the province of Ratchaburi, where he worked assiduously for the good of the monastery.

ESTIMATED MONTHLY EXPENSE PER PERSON:
- Monthly scholarships - 4,000 Baht.
- Visa and work permit in Thailand for foreigners, and in Russia for Thais and Laotians - 13,000 baht per year.
- Annual round-trip flights from Thailand to Russia (about 40,000 baht).
- Insurance and other - 18,000 baht per year
- During the actual stay at St. Petersburg Theological Academy and Seminary, the food and accommodation for the students is provided for free by the Seminary.
TOTAL PROVISION PER PERSON: 9,917.00 Bhat or 316 USD per month.
